Need some help..

So I haven't posted in a while. I've really just been trying to work on me.. At being the best me I can be. And that in itself is a success story, because the difference between when I first joined the forum and now.. Is phenomenal! I'm learning to love life and to LOVE me. I've soaked in the advice, and really started to just take care of myself, and nurture myself. Overall I am happy.. And that feels Sooo good! It feels so good to feel good,  I wouldn't say I've hit the 100% marker tho. Anyways, I'm still having some confusion come up in consideration to my guy. I've spoke with cherished and Veronica numerous times, and both of them assure me that YES I can definitely, absolutely attract my guy back. But I seem to hold a belief that is in the way. It's more or less "is this really possible" and I know I shouldn't be asking these things.. But that's what the forum is for right? I know my current reality comes from the past.. But exactly how long is the past going to continue to show up in my present, even after I've changed "vibes"

I know it's not all about getting the guy back, it's getting me back. And I am working on that daily and getting better and better all the time. The desire to have another chance with him is still very real tho! Would love to talk with you guys and love your input.

And I'll be honest.. I haven't really been using any of the "tools".. Mainly because it just makes me feel like I'm trying too hard to make something happen. I would say the tool I do use is just trying to be appreciative more of all the wonderful things that are going well, and affirmations( when I'm feeling REALLY REALLY good)

We should allow universe to take its time because it is arranging those events and circumstances which will bring your desire to you.  If you keep stressing the timing you r then making the process prolonged.  Just Act as if you are already with him and stop the longing..


You deserve your desires because they are already yours.

I find what can help is trying to identify where the resistance comes from and then releasing it. Sometimes our fears come from a very different place and we carry it with us in other situations.

You have come really far, and you can see that things have worked very much in your favour. The only thing that holds you up is your pretty consistent doubting when it comes to your guy. 😘 You simply have to find a way to feel it real! When you visualise, you are actually creating new neurological pathways. And they become habitual. If you can do that regarding your guy, you will start to actually have some belief in the scenarios you are creating. Why don't you give it a try?


If you imagine it in your mind..
Believe it in your heart..
Feel it in your soul..
You will hold it in your hand πŸ’žΒ

For some reason, I feel inspired to write here so here we go...

I would keep going up the Emotional Guidance Scale and ride your fun roller-coaster into the Vortex (around 1 - 4 on the chart below). I know you've written that you're happy, but it sounds to me like you're more content/hopeful than happy because of the confusion. And this isn't a bad thing at all - just part of the journey. Once you start the next adventure, you'll look back at these moments like a good movie and savor all the moments that led you to You (yep, the big You - your Inner Being, Higher Self, God, Source, Universe, etc).







So I would just keep going into Vortex, keep going from hopefulness to optimism to positive expectation to passion and excitement to happiness and joy. One of the biggest things I've learned lately is that we do not have to focus on what we want to reach these high levels of being. It's awesome if focusing on what we want feels good, but if it doesn't - then simply focus on anything that brings you delight and allow that to bring you closer to the Vortex. Maybe it's a great movie, a wonderful book, your career, a passion that you have, thoughts of self-appreciation and self-love....anything that brings out the pure positive energy in you. Building on that energy will get you into the Vortex over time. Follow your inspiration as well. The Vortex has a magnetic quality to it so every time we reach a higher state like optimism, the Vortex pulls us in closer because of its high energy. We'll begin to have ideas and inspiration on what to do that will help us get into the Vortex. You will know what feels right.

This idea blew my mind when I read about it. In the Vortex, we are one with our Inner Being, the spiritual and metaphysical aspect of who we are. Forgive me if you're not into this side of Law of Attraction, but I find this stuff really cool. In the Vortex, we're connected to our Inner Being so the thoughts we think are the same as our Inner Being's and these are thoughts of pure joy, appreciation, and expansion. Circumstances cannot take us out of the Vortex and back down the Emotional Guidance Scale because it's not circumstances that cause us pain, it's how we think about those circumstances that cause us pain. So what takes us out of the Vortex? Our Inner Being is the culprit and it gives us a thought that takes us out of it. I thought this was amazing when I first read about it, like a missing piece of the puzzle. So what do we do about this? We are now aware of the thought pattern our Inner Being is inspiring us to work on and this will make it easier for us to stay in the Vortex more consistently. Usually, finding better-feeling thoughts is a solid way into the Vortex, and thus we clear up our belief system in that way. Since thoughts must match our new, positive vibration - our attitude to different subjects much change as well. Before, something like war may have made you feel so overwhelmed and depressed and now, thanks to your high vibration, you'll look at it in a positive way like understanding that people are good and peaceful at a deeper level. We begin to see the world through our Inner Being. So usually, the positive vibration we have changes our thoughts on things without the need for specific focus. But at times, we can also be inspired from within the Vortex to change the way we think and focus on a particular subject. So I would just keep going into the Vortex and see what your inspiration tells you. If you feel inspired to work on the "Is this possible?' limiting belief, soothe yourself with better-feeling thoughts that will help you pivot your way into strong beliefs like "I like the idea of true love being possible. I like the idea of meeting him again. I enjoy true love and happiness, I know that I deserve the greatest love of all and I feel loved right now..."

Here's the fun part about working with the Vortex and the Emotional Guidance Scale: as you move into better-feeling places, techniques feel more natural, fun, inspired, and effortless. I gave up on LoA techniques myself because it only made me more frustrated and bored to do them again and again. So what did I do instead? I simply lived my life and enjoyed the things I already love about my life. As my optimism started coming back, indulging better feeling thoughts became easier so my only technique for a few months was Focus Blocks. As my vibration rises, new ideas, insights, and inspiration comes to me. With better-feeling thoughts, imagining a better life became natural and effortless, it was easy to do because it was fun unlike before when I was feeling bad. Do you see the difference your state of being makes? In a lower place, it's so hard to focus on what you want because you're reminded of its absence. In a higher place, it feels much more fun to focus again on living a better life because those kind of thoughts and imagery and feelings are more of a match to you.

Now here's the best part. You want to know "Is this really possible?" Yes, it is. But the only way I think you'll know for sure is when you keep reaching for the higher state of mind of the Vortex. It's hard to put into words, but in that expansive, unbounded state of mind of joy and happiness - it's like you simply know that anything is possible. In communion with your Inner Being, not only will you know that things are possible, but you'll know something even more important - what is right and what is worth having in your life. When you're in the Vortex, you'll gain a lot of clarity and inner understanding, so be prepared to know that your specific desires might change as your enter those higher states, but it's all good because it's leading you closer to what brings you greater joy and love.

THIS .... was SO awesome to read - it resonated with my I can't be arsed to do all these techniques self and allowed me to see why I could feel a change coming but I m also just bored about everything because truth be told I'm a little pessimistic which placed me smack in the almost there section of the emotional guidance system.

I'm going to sit with that for a while ..and read it properly ( not lazily ) again...Thank you Colonel!!


In the end everything will be okay, if it's not okay then it's not the end. In the meantime everyday and in every way I AM better and better.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I really do appreciate all of you lovely people being here for me to talk to. I feel like I'm just at a wits end.  I'm not over my desire, but I am beginning to be over this. I just don't know how to get past him being in a relationship with another girl. It knocks me on my ass everytime I think about it. I don't know what to do. I want my guy back.. And I don't know how to not have a ulterior motive.  Yes I wan to feel good.. But I also want to reconcile with him.
When I say I'm beginning to get over this, it's because I sometimes feel like it's jus my wishful thinking. I know it has worked for some of you, but for whatever reason I haven't been able to get it to work for me.

I've poked around on the Abe-forum some.. And a lot of what I see is people saying that I don't really know what I want. That the universe knows what I want. That just sends my head spinning because I'm certain I know what I want. I want him, not another guy that comes close. I'm just heart broken, I really thought I would have him back by now
