    At last the deed is done

    So, long story short he broke up with his girlfriend. Told her he still had feelings for me and began regretting dating her. Apologized for dating her while emotionally unstabled and told me about it. He told me he still loves me and wants to pursue ME as his life partner. He cannot see himself with anyone else but me. So I am really happy right now that I finally did it. Still working on other parts of my life though.

    A King only bows down to his Queen.

    I definitely sensed this would happen, it was always coming but it's good that you did not go down the road of allowing him to feel comfortable with having you and this other woman ! Now when you reunite, forget all your insecurities and the past, start a fresh completely and never go back to feeling unworthy or less than his number one, never mention this girl again !
