Something That Crossed My Mind

So before I was dating my darling I had another boyfriend. When I met my darling he was so sweet and kind. He wanted to get to know me better and we became best friends. He always listened to me and I adored his weirdness. We were always very compatible with each other because of our vibration. Then one day it was my birthday and we went to the movies, that same day he asked me out. I said no. I rejected him so many times.

But you know what? That did not stop him, even with the knowledge that I was dating someone. He never went sour when I mentioned my boyfriend. There were other guys that were after me and that never stopped him either. He just stood positive. He always smiled in my presence and he was just always there. He would listen to me and told me he loved me.

One day my boyfriend broke up with me and quite honestly that is when I realized my feelings for my darling. I did not jump right into the relationship, but one day we shared a kiss and since then we started dating. I brought this up because I was thinking about how even though there were other guys after me and I was dating someone he still believed he can be with me. The universe finally delivered me to him. So in a way I find inspiration from this and want to do the same.

my guy was the same way I rejected him numerous times...he was so romantic and called me better then his dream girlΒ

Mine called me perfect. But look at the bigger picture. Even with all those rejections he still believe that you can become something. And that's something that we should learn from this.

he said that years ago but I guess that means I still can be?

Doesn't matter how long ago he said it. As long as you believe it to be true then it is so true. You have to believe that you're still worthwhile. That's why no matter how many times he got rejected he can't go because he believed he was worth it.

Re: Something That Crossed My Mind

It is all about perspective and belief. They got rejected so many times and still believed we were already theirs. So why can't we do the same thing they did? Just because we had "our chance", but did we really have our chance? To truly have our chance we would be happy always, we would be relaxed, we would do our own thing, we would not worry, we would just have faith that we can do this. If a problem arises we acknowledge it, but don't feed into it and let it go.
