I have a question pertaining to things like Lanies method, or when someone does or says something right after we think about it. Is that LOA in action- the universe giving us our desire when someone says what we want them to say or do what we want them to do, or is it really just "thought transference", like what I suppose Lanie is really teaching us to do? To me there is a big difference...thought transference is a real thing to me, like I know it exists as I witness it all the time, but I don't know if it's really transferring thoughts from my mind to someone else's, or if that's LOA. I suppose it doesn't really matter if it means getting your desire, but I'm still curious?! I don't really like the idea of someone saying something just bc I put the thought into their head..bc then I would feel like it wasn't real or really from them. But if it was from an LOA perspective and the universe at work..id be more okay with the idea. Idk, I think I still have an issue with the idea of "free will" and invading someone's "free will" if it's even a thing to begin with?

I think free will is not an issue when it concerns LOA. To me, it's just like if someone sees a commercial for Coke, soon after, they want or have a taste for a Coke. They buy it, drink it and all is fine. Now, just because they saw the commercial, no one forced them to go out and buy a Coke. But maybe because they saw the commercial, they were reminded of how much they like Coke, or maybe they wanted to try one, or maybe they enjoy Coke and were planning to buy one anyway but the commercial influenced them to do that action sooner rather than later. In all these scenarios, the ultimate and final choice to buy a Coke was always in the person's control. It's just a matter of suggestion, but no force or manipulation was involved, and the person used his/her free will to decide to buy or not to buy one. So advertisers use this all the time and we are all being imprinted with suggestions constantly. These suggestions may or may not be good for us, but the choice is always ours.

Good point! I learned about those points in psychology class a few years ago! But I'm just really intrigued by this thought transference stuff & what's really going on when a person does or says what we think for them to. Sooo many different theries on everything!!
