I'm Sacred!!!

My mom doesn't believe I have an interview tomorrow. But she is mainly mad because I can't find one of my W2 forms and she can't file my taxes without it. She is also upset because I got signed up for Medicaid even though I already have insurance. She said I will get in trouble with the IRS for that. I don't know how everyone's country works with taxes, but she is scaring me with the chance of me ending up in court or jail. I am trying to reorganize myself, but my mom will take awhile. I don't feel tense around her like I used to, but this may be awhile until she warms up to me again. I just want to make her proud.

Re: I'm Sacred!!!

Focus on rocking your interview. Do what you can to feel very confident and worthy of the career you desire, whether it means getting your resume together, going over questions, practicing speaking up, or just visualizing a scene of success in your job. Do what you can now to feel confident. Everything else will take care of itself. Your intuition will open up and you will know what to do. Block out all that fear, go to your place of inner calm, relax, have a little fun, and focus on the feeling of confidence, success, and happiness. I know you want to make your mom proud and just make her happy, but you can't do that if you're letting the fears get to you. So think, focus, remember deep down - you are more than your fears and you can make things better - feel confident about that. And good luck!.

Re: I'm Sacred!!!

The interview went great, they loved my personality and said my resume looked great. They want to interview me again tomorrow with the head chef. If he likes me he will hire me on the spot. I am happy about that. But my mom is still yelling at me when I get home. The IRS will not send me to court for having two insurances. One of them just has to be canceled by the state and I have four years to do my taxes even though I want to do it right away.

Great job! We're not out of the woods yet. Keep visualizing or staying positive, focus your thoughts on feeling confident and worthy of the job you want. Stay in that feeling of already working there and feeling confident, free, and successful. It seems like everything is working out smoothly and the biggest negative force now is your mom yelling at you. Plus, your step-dad is probably in on it too? I know it hurts a lot when parents don't believe in us and they take their fears out on us with anger and criticism. Forgive them. They're just scared and taking it out on you. If you can forgive them and really see them through the eyes of compassion - you may see that they are just scared and taking out their own insecurities on you. Ultimately, it's up to you to find your own belief in yourself so keep up visualization or whatever helps you feel positive about yourself and your abilities. Don't let your mom's words scare you or make you feel bad, remember that they don't see the whole picture, and much of that picture is how successful, free, powerful, independent, and confident you are becoming. Stay in that feeling of inner belief and the fear won't matter.

Yes, but my mom wants me out of the house by the end of the month because so much has happened. My money got stolen and my step father won't fess up, so she thinks I spent it like nothing. She turned my phone off, on top of that I had to lock my bank card because I lost it. I can't find my w2 forn and had to reschedule my second interview because my mom wants me finding it. Plus, she still believes I will get in trouble by the IRS for not having my w2 form and the two insurances. Even if I were to tell her otherwise, she would not believe a word I am saying. I told her too many lies.
