Earlier today, and this evening, I started to get into a snit about my love and the fact that he has yet to contact me on his own(he has responded pleasantly to a general text exchange last weekend, but that's it). No FB,text,call- nothing.

There I was- arguing with him about this in mind, calling him names,etc....then I realized how ridiculous it was. To argue with someone who was no even aware of it- I began to laugh to myself about it- then ended the 'argument". lol

After that, I realized something. That with a few exceptions,(some due to the fact that the person has died, just a natural breaking point,etc) I am really blessed to be on very good terms with every ex I have - the friendships have remained! I actually got advice from one the night of this last breakup- he was one of the first people I reached out to.

Sometimes, when I post something on social media, they will comment or "like" things in succession, like a cheerleading squad...lol And conversely, they get encouragement from me when they reach out. No drama, no bringing up the past, just the best bits of loving friendship living on.

Real love never ends in my life - not really. It may take different shapes and forms, but it abides.
