Pretending to be joyful isn't the same thing as truly radiating a frequency of joy.
Once you understand the importance of feeling good as often as possible, it's easy to fall into the habit of pretending to feel good no matter what happens in your life.
You paste a smile on your face and act like everything is just great, when inside you're feeling irritated or sad or just plain sick and tired of problems. But the only one you're fooling is yourself!
Pretending to feel joyful isn't going to raise your frequency, so you will keep attracting more experiences that don't make you feel joyful.
A better way to raise your frequency is to focus on one thing you DO feel really good about. It might be something that happened in the past, or something you want to happen in the near future.
The moment you connect with the essence of this thing, your energy changes and your frequency begins to rise. Despite what is happening around you, you are automatically attracting something that matches your feel-good emotions.

Well Said...
Yeah it works. I do the Same. Pretending that you're happy and in good vibes really doesn't work. If you feel good inside, nothing can bring you down. Thanks Blessdck for sharing

Well, I am applying a rule which I call "Fake it till you make it"
When I'm sad or angry I just calm down and smile. For a while it's fake of course, but it makes me feel happier
