Also, as below, so above. So once you change your inner self, your thoughts naturally correspond to it. It's a bit of a paradox but it works.

But your inner self = higher self. Your thoughts are a reflection of your inner self. Change your thoughts then your reality will change.

I think the whole "fake it til you make it" is totally ok. I mean, we all gotta start somewhere, right?!
My learning from the post is that you just can't think all these good and positive things for the sake of, and leave it at that. We have to do the work (meditation, finding our purpose etc) so that our beliefs become genuine beliefs and our thoughts naturally serve us.
Now I have to meditate haha.

and yes i am totally faking it till im making it!! i'm still coming up with confidence-building affirmations, thinking about how i can most easily get into that "skin" i want, the fun, confident chick who's a total dynamo...
i think yes change thoughts -> change who we are
change who we are -> change thoughts
but at the same time subconscious mind is very very powerful soooo - they say repetitive thought patterns help create new beliefs but i'm still working on the whole subconscious/core area
