The simplest way to feel happier now

A lot has been written about happiness, how to get it, and how to keep it. For me, it's pretty simple. The key to happiness is completely about where I'm placing my focus moment to moment.

When I deliberately focus on the good in the world, things that are going right for me, my hopes and dreams and goals, I feel completely happy. But when I start focusing on more negative stuff, like watching the news too much, or thinking about my own challenges and frustrations, pretty soon my sense of happiness dissolves. That's always a sign to me that I need to get my focus back where it matters.

The truth is, each of us has thousands of things we can think about each day. We've got our pick of plenty of negative, scary, depressing, frustrating things, as well as plenty of wonderful, inspiring, heartwarming, amazing things. The ones we choose to focus on either add to or detract from our sense of happiness.

I know it's tempting to get sucked into the negative stuff sometimes (and sometimes it happens without our conscious awareness) but when we recognize the clear connection between how we're feeling and the things we've been focusing on, it gets much easier to deliberately choose our focus and therefore have a lot more control over how we feel each day.

Re: The simplest way to feel happier now

I'm focusing on this and it makes me happy. You are so right in what you're doing. Alot of us don't realize the things we give our attention to daily which form an unconscious impression on us. The news, many tv shows...how can I want to be inlove and watch degrading shows or listen to trash music all day? Your body/spirit/soul/mind is a temple, a vessel.. whatever we feed it with we put out. Want to change your vibration, change your lifestyle. Thank you for bringing up this point.

It's so easy to ge off track! But as you raise your vibration you are naturally lead to more magic and away from negativity.

If you imagine it in your mind..
Believe it in your heart..
Feel it in your soul..
You will hold it in your hand πŸ’žΒ
