This was inspired by a post of Cherished's about the power of forgiveness. It's something I've been trying lately and it works WONDERS. I'm seeing so much desperation and tenseness and worry on this forum, and this is a perfect – perfect – way to immediately dispel those feelings. So I want all of us to do one of these techniques every single day for the next month. Or two months. Or forever. Trust me, this will work for you. You'll feel immediately better.
The idea is that doing these should feel liberating, vibration lifting and afterwards you will feel like a weight has been lifted. You'll be happier, more accepting, less stressed, and therefore more likely for your manifestations to shift into your reality, because you are a better vibrational match. Get it? Good.
THE AFFIRMATION
Open up a draft email. Or get a pen and paper. Write down, slowly and thoughtfully and with emotion, "I forgive myself, I forgive others, and I fully love and accept myself". Repeat it, and do it as many times as makes you feel wonderful and lifted. If there's a certain person who you're holding resentment or worry for, start with their name. "X, I forgive myself..." etc. If you're busy, you don't have to write it down – say it to yourself in the mirror. But feeling emotion is key. Feel those worries and any negative past experiences just floating off into the universe as you write.
THE GRATITUDE
This is a simple one. When you wake up, think of 10 things you're grateful for in your life, even before you step foot out of your bed. As you get into bed in the evening and you're lying there, do another 10 things you've been grateful for that day. Simple, quick, and fun.
HO'OPONOPONO
This is a super simple, powerful Hawaiian prayer that has many stories and anecdotes about working like magic. It's a simple chant, which you can repeat often as you're going about your daily business – it requires no special meditation or visualisation. It's simply saying the words. It goes like this:
"I love You. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you".
THE LETTER TO THE UNIVERSE
If things are really stressing you out, this is a really excellent way to clear up multiple emotional blockages you might have. Maybe there's many situations you can't stop thinking about. Grab a pen and paper, or a blank email, and write a letter to the universe. Start it "Dear Universe..." – tell it all your worries, all the things you can't let go, all the events you keep revisiting in your head. Be as brutal and as detailed as you like. End it with "I fully love, forgive and accept myself". Delete and destroy it and take a deep, long breath. Feel all the worry float away.
(Note: letter to the universe is not a technique to use every day, only when things really get a bit 'too much')

These are some great ideas, definitely going to incorporate this into my life since I've been feeling a bit tense and frustrated about things the past few weeks. For the Ho'oponopono one, is this exercise directed more towards yourself or towards the person you are upset with?

Wonderful exercise I am going to do it as well Brilliant! I have been holding resentments for years against people who have hurt me and continue to and I am sure this is what is holding me back and help me change the script so that the behavior stops !! thankyou

This is towards yourself, but there's no reason why you can't be sending loving thoughts to people while you're doing it.
