Nearly the same thing happened to me, so far in my life, all my exs have returned but just too late, when I've already moved onto someone else ! It's bittersweet because you think back to the days where you cried over them and wished they'd come back and when they do, you just feel nothing. However, I feel like that's what makes the difference for true love, I think true love lives on and never dies. Maybe all our break ups is like the universe letting us know who is our true love and who isn't, they will all come back, but the question is-will we still want them when they do? I think I will always want mine, I believe I will anyway!
