Your sending him a message for Diwali doesn't matter too much: no harm done, but I would leave it at that now.
You are missing him badly right now, and feeling his absence. When you are feeling his absence you are focusing on not having him, which will manifest more of the same.  

Keep using the loa and have faith it. Because it works. Try to do things that make you feel good in the meantime.

Well you know barbidoll whatever happened to you in the past can be put behind you because now that you have the knowledge about loa coming into your life, you can become like an artist painting your new reality and shaping things the way that you want them to be. Once you have some practice in loa and see how it really does work then you will always be the one in charge of the way you want things to go. It really will be a life changing experience for you, and a very positive one. :-)

You know that with LoA you can have anything in life and that includes this man, whatever the obstacles that may seem to exist at the moment. If he is married then maybe spend some time each day imagining his current wife  moving on to a different relationship, one that is completely right for her and makes her happy. Just imagine the final outcome being the very best for everyone concerned and that way you will be free to have a wonderful life with the one that you love. :-) 
 

I think that in this case you acted on your intuition (which is good). You felt inspired to do it and you were in such a positive place emotionally that it worked for you.

And I think you're really doing the right thing now in going straight back to your original plan.
