I visualise in different ways. It's probably more effective if you get yourself into a relaxed, receptive state first, which needn't take long. I do it this way, but I also do it sometimes when I'm doing other things that require no real concentration. Another thing I do sometimes that I got the idea from Neville Goddard to do is to write a letter to myself that is supposed to be from another person that says what I want them to say to me and read it over and over until it seems more real that they wrote it to me rather than I wrote it to myself.

That seems to be true. The first time my specific person cut me off for quite a long time without any explanation (and it turned out it had nothing to do with anything I'd done), when I finally didn't care about him any more in spite of having been in love with him for years, the next month he contacted me and was very keen to talk to me on the phone. (It's been long distance, and started with letter writing.)  It was going very well when he first got back into contact and for a few months after that, but we ended up having a sort of falling out several months later due to the fact I told him off for the lack of respect he had been showing me, and I haven't heard from him since December. Unfortunately, once he'd got back into contact and seemed to be excited and happy to talk to me, I started feeling something for him again. I don't have the temptation many people seem to have to contact their specific person because I don't know where he is now, only the town he moved to just before Christmas.

[size=150]This will probably seem trivial to other people, but it's sort of a big deal to me. Yesterday I was in a craft shop buying something else, and I walked past the area where the fabric quarters are kept to see if a design I particularly wanted to get some more of was in stock because they were going to go on sale the next day (today). It is a design they almost never have, and when they do, they barely have any.  They had four of them sitting there right at the front of the display where you couldn't fail to see them, and I claimed them for myself and said to myself that they would be there waiting for me when I went back to buy them during the sale. Last time I said that, when I'd seen a few in stock when they weren't having a sale but I knew a sale was coming up in a week or two's time, I said the same thing, but that time it didn't work. I felt like the universe was laughing at me, saying that's what you think.
This time I went back today to buy the four I'd seen yesterday, and those four were missing from where I'd seen them. There was an empty space there where they'd been. I found six others hiding in the back of another part of the display, but I kept saying I want some more, I want those ones I saw and claimed yesterday.  I kept saying to myself that I want some more, and I couldn't believe it when a lady came up to me a few minutes later and said that she'd seen some of that design in my shopping trolley, said she'd decided against buying them, was holding those four in her hand and offered them to me, so I ended up with ten this time, which is a good amount of this design to find in stock at the same time. This experience has given me some much needed faith in the process of attempted manifestation.[/size]
