I'm a big fan of Neville's, and he was really law of assumption. Below are his main teachings.
Imagining creates reality.
You are the operant power. It doesn't operate itself.
Live in the end of the wish fulfilled, which means you go straight to the end of having your desire in your imagination and dwell there with no concerns of how it will happen and think from the perspective of already having your desire. Feel it real, the way you would feel if you already had your desire.
The law of assumption. What you assume consistently will become true over time.
Your thoughts create, for good or ill, so maintain a mental diet of the thoughts you want to become true and eliminate the negative.
Everyone is you pushed out, meaning other people are affected by what you think of them or expect of them. They have no free will in your reality and will do and say what you expect, for good or ill. It doesn't have to be what you expect of a specific person, it can also be what you expect of people or men or women in general or what you think you deserve or the way you expect to be treated.
What you experience in the 3D, the outside world, is in some way being created by your own thoughts/imaginal acts, so it is pointless to try to directly manipulate the 3D by outward actions when it is your own thoughts that are creating and keeping the 3D going. As Neville said, that is to struggle against the very nature of things. You are the only creator in your reality.
Persistence is important. Consistency is important. Faith is important.
