Hello again Forum!

I’m being a bit of a pest today, but something has really gotten into me to reach out for support in getting my marriage out of a state of separation and back to wholeness. I’m so grateful to have this forum to go to! It feels like such a nice, supportive community. Thank you, Veronica!

One of the issues I’ve mentioned already is that I’ve come across a number of meditations, affirmations, and subliminals that have things like “I will attract my ex back” or “my ex thinks of me all the time”. The problem I’ve had with this is that every time I hear, audibly or subconsciously, the word “ex” or anything that implies what I desire will happen eventually in the future, my conscious mind tries to override it with “No! He’s not my EX!! He’s currently my husband and he’s with me NOW!”. It’s like I’m railing against those words and concepts, which is creating resistance and a continuing state of frustration and lack.

So I’m wondering, can anyone recommend a good subliminal, affirmation, or meditation that affirms the relationship is strong NOW, that does not refer to my partner as an ex, or in any way currently absent from me?

I can imagine that a lot of folks here might be struggling with the same issue. I feel like the more we affirm a state of lack, especially while actively visualizing it, the longer that lack will remain. Maybe I’m thinking about this all wrong, but it just seems to me there ought to be more resources that help a person get into the feeling of having the desired outcome in the present moment.

As of the pat two weeks, I have compiled a lot. I made my own subliminal playlist with all SORTS of things so I can put it on shuffle, listen for what time allows (usually 30 minutes) and then the next day I hear something else. I'll list a bunch. Hopefully I can link them all. I focus on love all around, self worth, and prayers answered (I'm not just working on a person but life too so there's that reason as well). Some of the titles have a negative connotation, but I look for "I am loved, he loves me," that sort of affirmations for the person, and "I am worthy, I am deserving," for the life overall. So please don't take any of the titles in a bad way, haha.

Excellent! Thanks so much for compiling this list! I’ll go check them out this evening and see which ones resonate, and some do look familiar. I’m just trying to avoid the “Get Your Ex Back” genre, because my mind keeps screaming, “He’s not my EX, dang it!”  Estranged, yes, but I refuse to acknowledge “EX”.

Of course, it could be I’m just being difficult... But... Nope.  I just can’t go there.

I did buy one program that’s really helpful, for when I’m doing my own visualizations (not guided). It’s called Equisync, and I find it really helps bring my busy brain into a calm balance.  That’s at eocinstitute.org if anyone’s interested. It really seems to quiet the chatter, and that pesky Voice of Reason. As far as I’m concerned, the Voice of Reason is the enemy to LOA.
