So I'm not sure where to put this but opinion question . So today I got to see another pre screening. My guy wasn't suppose to be there but he popped up to say hi to everyone. I said hello smiled and then went inside . So saw he movie it was great. I get out check my phone there is a message from him asking me why I have to be awkward with him still. I said define awkward. He literally defined awkward ( he is always sarcastic like this with everyone) and said I was hasty around him. I said I was just doing my thing. I said we were fine around each other he said yea thought so too. He was just checking. I then asked him if he felt like an inconvenience cause the word was in the definition. He said "nah?" I then said just checking he said we are good I then said oh you literally thought I meant define awkward no I meant me loser. He said he is a smart ass it's what he does. That is how we ended it. So I feel good I remind myself I love me but I literally didn't think I have been hasty I have not wanted to be around him because of that other reason but that's it I was always saying hi talked to him last time but I leave because I have to go and I really don't want to settle for anything less then being his girlfriend. So I really thought we were fine. Most people I would imagine would have been fine with how cordial we have been if that was their ex and they didn't care I would imagine right? I mean I'm thinking he must care more then I thought for him to send me that message an hr later? Thoughts guys I'm curious

To add in I also care deeply about him I want him to know that but I feel if I show more him that I care so much about what he is saying it just makes me look needy and I don't want to. I guess I'm not sure what he is meaning and why he cares about it? Most people like I said would be happy to be cordial but it seems he is looking for something else? I could be wrong

But good movie guys feeling good still I'm just curious still doing the 25 day challenge!

I think he's realised he doesn't have you at his beck and call. I'd have simply left it at that, been pleasant to him, given the simple explanation you did, that things were fine, but then not engaged in further explanation that's unnecessary and feeds into his ego needs, which is, I think, where he's coming from. Keep it simple. He's realising you're not coming running after him which is great. Don't overcomplicate it. Be your busy self, no trying to make him jealous or anything.

I don't plan to make him jealous. I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing . I feel good and it seems to be working . Would love to just hear more opinions though. To me it was like what does he expect me to act like?

As I said I think he expected you to be fawning over him and it's a wake up call for him. It's not about what he expects, it's about you.

I agree with PF - you're not being so needy or desperate around him so he's wondering why.

Carry on with what you're doing and don't focus on him. You want him to come forward with genuine feelings or actions, you shouldn't have to try and read what he's thinking - don't settle for little signs because you could just be reading too much into it.

You want genuine movement towards you that can't be misinterpreted - don't settle for anything less! 😊

I'm loving me lol he actually ( I know social media isn't big) has liked more stuff and commented on something yesterday so it's like I feel like he is trying to get my attention. I'm seeing him Friday at a party so I ll do the same we are all suppose to dress up so we shall see . I m manifesting my desire guys lol

Btw lost weight and i toned up idk if you guys read my success but I saw him at the movies again two weeks ago and when he saw me we talked he followed. Me out . I then said I had to go he said you are leaving? I said yes have to go home. This is where I don't get the hasty part I had to go home but when we talked I was all smiles and nice and he texted me on my way home asking if I was gonna be ok I said yes we joked and then he said "let me know if ya need anything" it's 11:30 at night btw. And then we both said we were doing good and said good night. This was two weeks ago. So seriously I took that as we are fine . Then yesterday I get that whole spill from him. Interesting lol

No. He definitely wants your attention. I wouldn't play games, but I'd be direct and don't give more information than he needs. Be sure to reply, but never right away and be short and sweet. Very sweet. Make sure he knows he's not the priority. YOU ARE THE PRIORITY!

Thanks guys for the response normally I pretend like I have the relationship but I haven't done much of that today. I do say the universe will take care of it . I'm gonna see him Friday and just say hey I love me whatever happens I love me. I think I did real well last night . Btw I looked hot when he saw me . But I just wanted to be sure I'm not over thinking this. I think he really is starting to think. It seems like he thinks of me a lot lately because of the other movie night and the texts on those. Also it's like I did talk to him the other movie night lol so for him to do this it's like come on dude. So feeling good I'm telling myself whatever happens I love me I am in control and I am awesome. I feel like he is gonna contact me again before Friday or something is gonna happen then in my favor
