I took a bus to friends house earlier today, I take my Kindle out with me whenever I go out. I was reading a book about manifesting an ex back.

It said you should demand to be treated as a high-value person at all times, without being angry or mean. You need to make it clear that no matter how invested you are in a person you will get up and walk away if you are not treated in the way you deserve.

Absolutely!

The sad fact is, people will treat you how you let them treat you and people value things which seem 'exclusive' and they have to work for or earn.

And i've made that mistake dozens of times! Making excuses for people all the time for why they were treating me in a certain way. Oh he's just busy or scared of commitment or he's been hurt before or whatever.

If someone knows they can give you the bare minimum (or less! in some cases) and still have your affection or attention or love and have you waiting around or as a FWB or just as a friend while they keep you on the back burner - then they will give the bare minimum.

If they know that isn't enough and you will walk away then they will step up to ensure they don't lose you or they'll happily move on to someone else and then you know they weren't worth it anyway!
