If you go places where it is hard to find a parking spot near the building or place you have to go to, challenge yourself to visualize getting a good space when you get there.
Do this for the next three times you have to go somewhere where parking is at a premium or you just want to be close to the entrance.
What works for me a lot is while I am driving, I will imagine me parking close to the entrance and that I am feeling good and only walking a short distance to go in. I sometimes repeat over and over either out loud or in my head at the same time until I get there: "Good space, good space, good space, I'm there".
It works!
