I have desired a transfer to a different division in my company for 4 years. I actually had a specific location  in mind as well  I'ts difficult to do   as they keep you in the division regardless of what you want .   I have applied to no avail  even though I qualified.   I simply gave up    and  not depressed    just  more of a "I want it  but   I will just not obsess about it "      A few days later  I got a call    inquiring if I would be interested in a job in the other division   not the city I want   but  still  in the division.    I was told the home office will be contacting me about an interview.    They were quick to tell me its not a job offer   but  I know  I'm on my way
