Liberation from the past

I found myself manifesting all the wrong things when I started thinking and obsessing about the past. Today was the day I finally realized the harm I was doing. I was getting in my own way. Great philosophers who are asked about the past often pose their own question. Where is the past? Can you point to its location in the here and now? No. Then stop worrying about it. Today that resonated within me and I started repeating in my head like a mantra "the past does not exist, I have the power to make the past with this present moment and the power to make the future with this moment." Maybe this post might help some we're all in this journey together. As the ancient Maya would say In Lak Ech (I know I spelt it wrong in my username)

In lak ech. Ancient Mayan for "you are my other me"

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing!!! Yes sometimes the past is what we hold on to but it does not help to do it! I use Neville'so technique on rewriting the past when I have something I cannot get over and then it doesn't seem so bad anymore😃

Totally agree, that's how I started feeling better about all situations too! Just let it go and start anew

I thank the universe for everything.

So true. The only place where the past exists is in our minds and the moment we give it room in our minds, it becomes the present...and the future.

"Self-abandonment. That is the secret. We have to abandon ourselves to the state, in our love for the state, and in so doing live the life of the state and no more our present state. And to make the state alive, one must become it."

Neville Goddard ~ The Law and the Promise
