I completely agree. Is there any advice on how to overcome anxiety? In this situation i know i can do this i believe.
The key to managing anxiety is twofold - firstly be compassionate and kind to yourself and secondly understand what are your stressors and learn how to dissolve them.
Anxiety is essentially an overreaction to stress. And stress is a perception of the gravity of a situation.
Anxiety is you reacting to your perception of a situation being stressful. So you need to learn to change your perception on situations and circumstances which are causing you to be anxious. How much work you need depends on how deep rooted your anxiety is.
Understand that your experience of life is a mixture of beliefs, perception and exceptions. Change those factors and you will dissolve your anxiety. It won't happen overnight but as you learn to change your beliefs and understanding of events around you, it becomes easier.
There are many tools you can use, the two best tools are 1- meditation to learn to quieten you thoughts and 2- CBT to learn to reframe your perception of your thoughts and circumstances. And EFT also.
Save your energy from RS and visualisation etc, and refocus your energy to stabilising yourself.
