Neville

What  Neville says about the timing?  I'm a bit confused because many times he wrote that everything has it's own appointed hour, but i also saw quotes where he says that it becomes reality when we are fully conviced it is so. Maybe the appointed hour is the moment when we are conviced?  I don't really believe that manifestations has its own timings, but i would like some insights for better understanding what he says.  And what is your opinion about this?

Re: Neville

That's something that confused me too and I am still not fully clear about it. But I decided for myself that I choose to believe that it comes, when I am fully convinced or another way he said it: when it feels natural. And maybe, it even all fits together perfectly, even when it sounds contradictory.
For example: When I became an psychology student, I had to go through a specific application process. I had to submit my documents till May, then I could choose an order of preferences of the universities I applied for till June and then I had to wait till the feedback phase started in August. When I applied, I didn't believe this would ever work out for me (I didn't use what I know now consciously back then). Then maybe around the end of June or the beginning of July, I started to believe it. I got excited, I made plans, I thought about how I could see my bf when I was in another city, I pondered which free time activities I wanted to join, what languages I wanted to learn at university and so on. You notice, that thoughts came FROM the state of being a psychology student. So at that point, I was convinced. BUT: It didn't feel natural to me to get accepted in July, because I "knew" that the application process ended in August. So the "appointed hour" was affected by my belief in the application process and that there was no way to get accepted before that.
Another example: I know that snow exists, but the appointed time for snow is winter, because I "know" that it will never snow in June in Germany.

So I think it's all in our control. There is no list that says
car: 6 months from believing it
home: 3 years from believing it
chocolate: 1 day from believing it

Re: Neville

Maybe the thing is that everyone has his own natural timeframe in which he thinks it can happen. Most people make some manifestations "big" and then probably expect that it will took longer than a chocolate for example.

Many people have similar beliefs and so they get similar results and similar time frames. People start to get sick in their fourties or fifties. That feels natural, because they look at the others and see the same thing. Then there is this one person thinking "omg, it's in my family, I even could get it very early in life" and that's what they get.
When I wanted to live in a certain street (no intention involved just "wow, that's where I want to live later"), it took three years to manifest, because before it was unnatural. I had an apartment to that time, so no reason to move. Then I moved with my bf to another city - no naturalness here. Then I moved back with my bf, but I wanted to be close to university and that street wasn't. And then when I moved out, I just wanted to find an apartment I could affort. Then for the first time in those three years, it was natural for that street to pop up. Before, it wouldn't have make any sense. But then, the apartment showed up with missing phone number. I googled for the adress and just tried to call there. I was the only one doing that, so I had no competition. Pretty easy, pretty natural...but only at that point in time.

Re: Neville

There is one other thing that came to my mind, when I was thinking about your question (which was btw a very good one that made me figure out for myself what I hadn't been clear about before). Neville quotes this one Bible verse. Wasn't even aware that it's in the Bible, thought it was from Blake. But it's Habakkuk 2:3. I can't find the exact translation that Neville uses, but they basically say all the same thing, so it doesn't matter. One version is for example:
"Even if the message is not fulfilled right away, wait patiently; for it will certainly come to pass - it will not arrive late."

So what does "arriving late" mean? If a friend passes by your place, thinks you could hang out spontaneously and rings your door bell to find out, if you are home....you wouldn't say "you are late" when you open the door, because you don't expect them. So, that means that something can only be late, if we expect it. And that would prove the point I made before. Just because you know something doesn't mean you expect it to happen right away. And when you know it and the time you expect it to happen arrives, it won't be late. So it's completely in your hands, when it comes. Nothing on the outside (that doesn't really exist anyways) involved.

Now that I thought about it a little more, it's pretty obvious. If I expect tomorrow to be horrible, it won't manifest today, but I already feel horrible today (=thoughts and emotions coming from the state of horrible tomorrow), because I am already in the state of this horrible day, but I don't expect it to start right away

Re: Neville

Manifestation starts happening the time when our consciousness has believed something we want. Our soul or subconscious have to arrange people, situations etc. Thats why outside things looks late and we cant exactly knw the timing. But yeah people have manifested in a time frame too only because they had no burden on their mind about specific date.

Re: Neville

This is silly, and probably not the proper place to post this, BUT, I wondering if anyone would like to start a little Neville group? We could study him together and help each other with manifestations. Anyone interested?
