So I ride our subway to and from work everyday. Today I REALLY wanted a seat because I hated where I was standing. In my mind, I told this gentleman and this young woman to get up so that i could sit in one of their seats.  I had the guy get up first and then the woman. Guess what happened? The guy got up and exited the train! A young man got to the seat before I did. No big deal because the woman was next. She got up but then someone got to her seat before i could. “Damn!” I thought. Until someone who was sitting next to where the guy was sitting got up & the young man scoot over and I sat in the man’s original seat like i had wanted! The mind is a powerful thing! I couldn’t believe it!
