There is a very old US TV series with many episodes that I started watching on amazon because I wanted to see it and part of it was free to prime members, alternating and intermingled with paid episodes.  It is a serial, so it's a continuing story. I didn't want to pay anything, and I did have partial success in getting amazon to give me some more episodes for free and they agreed to give me even more for free but then claimed there were technical problems that they ended up never fixing. This dragged on for over a month. I didn't want to pay anything to watch something that was originally free, I didn't want to own it, but I was determined I was going to watch it free somehow. I looked on youtube and found that it was blocked where I'm living right now, but since I've got a good, reliable vpn, I looked on youtube in my own country and somebody had put the entire series on there, so I've been able to carry on watching it where I left off since I found it yesterday.
