How do I respond to the woman he is dating?

Hello Everyone!

I'm new here, but have been reading posts for a few weeks now for inspiration. It is really awesome to have a place to hear from others who are also working towards manifesting their dreams!

I am currently working on manifesting a new and improved relationship with my ex. We have been broken up for a month and a half with no contact. My ex is now dating a mutual friend.

This weekend there is a Bachellorette party for a mutual friend and I am also in the wedding.  The woman my ex is now dating will  be at this party.

Today, the woman he is dating text me the following message:

"Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to talk about anything before the party on Saturday so it's not awkward. I think it's better to talk now than at her party."

So, my question to all of you is what the heck do I say back? I know that current reality doesn't matter, only state of being mattes. And, I'm ok with the fact that she will be there and that she text me.

I just want to make sure that my responses are in line with keeping my vibration high and helping me to move  my manifestation forward.

I am so grateful to have found this forum and for any advice you all can give me.

Thank you and happy manifesting!

Keep it short and neutral, I wouldn't actually talk to her about anything.

Don't give her the oxygen of publicity or feed into her thinking there would be an issue.  Just treat her how you would have if she's any member of your circle of friends.

Thanks mb16, Keeping it short does seem like a good plan.

Ori97, There are a million things I could say to her, but I don't even want to go there. I am really focusing on staying positive. I know that their relationship is just a manifestation of my past thoughts and that my current state of being is leading me towards reconciling with my ex.  I would like to go to the party and have fun celebrating my friend. There will be many other friends there could potentially make it awkward by bringing it up or whispering about it, but that's on them.

My response to her text would be ' Hi, it sure is going to be a little awkward but nothing that we both cannot handle. We are adults , right!
You must go to the party and have fun and maintain a distance with her. That's kind of normal & expected. But how elegantly you handle it on that day is something which you have to prepare yourself with.
I think if you do manage to ignore and be completely involved in just having a good time at the party, your small battle is won. All the best!

Living in gratitude, loving yourself, asking and let go! Trust the process!Β

Thank you! That is exactly it, I want to walk away from this night knowing that my friend had the time  of her life and that I kept  it classy no matter what! I think the response that you suggested  really does help to accomplish that goal.
