Patience is key

A lot of us lack it, but patience really is important.   Things really do happen.  Sometimes they happen right away(if there's no resistance towards it) other times you need patience. Especially if you need to get your vibe/confidence up

It doesn't matter if it's for getting a new place, car, job, vacation, money, attracting someone, getting your ex back, etc    It really is very important to be patient and a lot of people(including myself) have a hard time being patient at times

I think when it comes to things like getting an ex back or making a new friend.  We all think about the "special days".  Holidays. Anniversaries. Birthdays. Etc.   it's like.  We want it to happen that certain days

For example, if you seen my other thread.  I talked about the girl I wanted to become friends with, I didn't really feel "good" about sending her a request, but I read on her page that her birthday was coming up(March 6th).  So I wanted to be friends by then, so I could say "happy birthday" and maybe that jump started the friendship

Now, after having a few days to process it, it doesn't really matter, I had the desire of being friends with her, so if I truly want it.  It will happen.  Maybe not on her birthday.  Maybe it will be in the spring or summer, but it will happen

I just tried to rush it and it got me nowhere

I have a cool story for you guys, I know someone and he wanted to become a personal trainer.  From what I heard.  The test is very hard.    A few months ago.  He wrote down on paper that he'll pass it

The other day, he did

Re: Patience is key

I completely agree. It's interesting how things manifest so quickly when we don't care at all

I see it as one of two ways.

1. we don't care, so it manifests quick

2.  We are SOO confident about it, KNOWING it will happen and not once doubting ourselves and then it happens

Re: Patience is key

I agree. I don't like the word "patience" so much though, because for me it implies some kind of waiting. I think it's a mix of being relaxed about it, not needing it now in this very second, enjoying thinking about it and don't feeling any pressure about it.

That's true, I like your definition better, but I couldn't fit that into the title LOL..   It's never good just waiting around for it to happen and keep looking.

but it's important to build your confidence/vibes,be happy, have fun, live live, etc.

If it wasn't in the title, I hadn't clicked on it in order to disagree. Abe always say that we have to relax and in the beginning, I thought they just said it to comfort us, but now I think it's really an important point, when it comes to LoA. We have to be like children again. Children don't cling to anything, they don't obsess. They are happy, they are easy about things, they don't ponder stuff too much, they live in the moment. If we could just get back there, we got it.

That's so true, plus children have a VERY good imagination, they'll visualize these things..  I know when I was young, I would always visualize things,

It's funny, there were a lot of times when I was a child I wanted something, but couldn't have it, but then once I was over the original disappointment stage, I just forgot about it.. had fun and a lot of the time... a few hours later I'd get it lol..

I think as we grow older, it's harder to let things go, we have the habit of obsessing over things, instead of just letting it go, enjoying ourselves and being happy
