One thing I think a lot of people, whether they believe in LOA or not don't do enough, is have gratitude
from what I've read/heard/ gratitude is a very important part of LOA.... Don't take the small things for granted.. It would be good to make a list of 5-10 things a day, that you are grateful for
food
a house
heat(if it's cold)
having good health
etc,etc,etc
Yes, A lot of us on LOA forums want what we want, but DON'T FORGET... to be grateful/thankful for the things/people you CURRENTLY have.

One of my favorite quotes, makes me happy and inspired when I think on it:
"Happiness is not in having what you want. It's in appreciating what you have."
Ultimately when I think on this, it reminds me that we don't need the ex, specific person, job, or money to live a great life...look deeper at your feelings and you'll see that the opportunties for greatness are already there...and more often that not when we get these things the honeymoon phase ends and we get stuck craving more and more - there is no one thing that will make us fully happy forever, happiness is the path not the person, not the thing, not the outcome...it's the journey, it's in your choices. Sure, you may not have this and that, but you still have so much, especially the power to be happy and free from within. You don't need things to change to feel a certain way when you can realize the love and freedom within yourself now, that this experience - just as it is - is a blessing. As within, so without. Ultimately, that's what LoA is about.
