What does "getting out of your own way" mean?

I've seen it on here but I'm afraid I have no clue what it means. Thanks.

Re: What does "getting out of your own way" mean?

I think it's just another way of saying letting go or having no resistance to it
There's so many names or terms given to the same thing

Re: What does "getting out of your own way" mean?

You are the only factor that can hold the manifestation back. That happens mostly by focusing on what you see in your physical reality and take your cues from it. So, just don't do that.

"Self-abandonment. That is the secret. We have to abandon ourselves to the state, in our love for the state, and in so doing live the life of the state and no more our present state. And to make the state alive, one must become it."

Re: What does "getting out of your own way" mean?

When I say it, it is part of accepting that I am the cause of my life. Instead of being depressed, complaining etc I am going to get out of my own way and change and my life will change

Re: What does "getting out of your own way" mean?

It means that you don't try make things happen or control the outcome. You simply let it go, trust everything is falling into It's place and take actions when needed (the gut feeling action or a necessary action). Once you do that, believe me, God/Universe will make your desires run towards you.
