I've been attempting to shake my past, any tips?

I had a bad experience almost 12 years ago.Β  Off and on throughout the years,Β  I think about it.Β  I think on what I wish I had said or done differently.Β  When it's on my mind,Β  it is on my mind very raw.Β  I obsess over the people that were involved. One of the people have even passed away but yet it's like I can't let go of it completely.Β Β  I know that this is creating blockage for my desires.Β  Does anyone have any tips for me?Β

Maybe that sounds a little too simple, but nobody can force you to think a thought. When you catch yourself thinking a thought you don't like, you can think about something else. If you don't know what to think about in this moment, prepair a thought you can shift to.

There is a video by Bentinho Massaro about how to change your past (I think something between those lines is the title, too) and I think in imagineer your life, he also speaks about healing the past at some point. Check it out. I think it could be the stuff you need to hear.
