I had a meeting today with one of the recruiting managers who was very positive, said after meeting me (socially, for a coffee) that she could see I could have done the job and more of my personality came through, and she found out stuff about me that I didn't say at the interview.  She said she wishes she could do something for me as she can see what a good team member I would be, but I didn't pass the interview so she was unable to. (I didn't make eye contact apparently during the presentation and didn't stand up, when they put the projector right in front of me I thought I was expected to sit down!)
