    What if you work together?

    I'm also one of the managers and she is just an employee. I had my first day working with her since the breakup. I didn't initiate conversation but I also don't want to be rude. Should I just stick to keeping it strictly professional for now?

    Do what your heart tells you to do. I guess the break up happened not long ago?

    I you don't feel good about reaching out to her in a friend -way, then don't force yourself and keep it professional.
