Advice we all could use.

I'm sorry if this comes across as very blunt and in your face, I'm guilty of all the things I'll be mentioning here so maybe this will be a wakeup call for me and advice others can use too. I'm also sorry if this is a looooong read, this is all coming from the heart and I'm a very expressive person.

Breakups suck, I'm sure we've all been there at least once but we often put so much love into that person we lose track of who we are and the love we should have for ourselves. When my past relationships fell apart I fell off the wagon pretty badly. Binge drinking, chain smoking, comfort eating, not taking care of my appearance, I can't tell you the last time I had a haircut, that'll change soon though, ย being up all night and sleeping my my days away, stalking my exes online, being paranoid they were with someone else, hating the person they were with if that was the case. Pretty much anything self destructive I took part in. In all honesty I've been in the wonky sleep cycle and not looking after myself. This is only delaying my manifestations, I'm pretty familiar with the Law of Attraction, I could list many small things I've manifested and those came to me with no trouble. I've put too much focus on him, he's great and all, I know this but my needs should come first.ย 
I know this is easier said than done but dedicate some time to coming to terms with how your relationship ended, that is the past and it can't hurt you if you don't allow it to. Avoid drinking to numb the pain, it doesn't change anything and chances are you'll just wake up with a nasty headache anyway. Comfort eating, this was a really tough one for me, I love sweet things but they'll only lower your vibration, if you want to snack on sweet things eat fruit. Drink plenty of water, that's so important for you anyway. Take care of your appearance, don't sit around in unflattering clothes all the time, you're beautiful and you should wear and do things that make you feel that way. I'm a big fan of face masks and hot baths.ย 

Your needs should come first. I used to be such a people pleaser and I'd go out of my way to make sure people liked me and would only have good things to say about it. In return I was walked all over and it caused me so much stress. Now, I'm not saying this applies to everyone. You should always be kind to people and offer help to people who need it but if you're only doing it to make sure people like you, you're only bringing unneeded stress your way. Be kind, be humble but don't be a doormat.ย 

Now this is something I'm super guilty of, stop blaming your past circumstances. I understand how hurtful life can be, everyone has been through something that has shook their world but we can't let these things define us. To appreciate the good sometimes you've got to go through the bad. Quoting a 50 Cent song here but these lyrics helped me a lot "Sunny days wouldn't be special if it wasn't for rain. Joy wouldn't feel so good if it wasn't for pain". While there's no shame in needing time to recover from bad experiences use them as the fuel you need to get back up and back into the world. It was tough but you made it, you're still standing. You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. I've been diagnosed with a few mental disorders in my time, bipolar disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, social anxiety, PTSD after a rough year last year and I'd blame everything happening on these things, it's easy to do so, but when I stopped and looked at it I'm doing great! I have less bad days these days, I can go outside with friends more often, even on my own sometimes! These disorders aren't me, they are just names associated with things I can't control, that's what my medication is for. Doctors can deal with my "illnesses" I'll deal with my life.ย 

My point is, what happening now is only our current reality, which is okay because we can change it if we shift our energy in the right direction.ย 
They not here right now? Focus on you two sitting together.
You want to talk to them? Imagine a conversation between you two, a good one.
Why isn't it happening yet?ย You just answered your own question.
But what if they are with someone else?ย Irrelevant, focus on the relationship between you two. This person doesn't matter.
They blocked me/changed their number/deleted their accounts!ย Again, this doesn't matter. There are many ways to contact a person. There are many routes to the same destination. This isn't your job, you don't have to worry about this.ย 

Sorry this dragged on. Today I decided I'm going to sort my sleep schedule out. I'd love to blame lack of sleep for this tangent but I just wanted to share this on the off chance someone else can benefit from it and I can read it back and take my own advice for once, sometimes I actually know what I'm talking about.ย

I'm guilty with all the things you said. But I'm thankful that I woke up from that nightmare. And I'm also thankful that I saw a video of Veronica and lead me to this forum. Posts like yours are truly helpful. Thank you.

Great post, thank you for sharing, I'm agree with all you said.ย 

We need to think more in us and what we want to be happy and it doesn't matter what our situation is now, we can change everythingย
