Hi everyone,Β
Hoping to get some help and inspiration for alignment, or at least if anything, just a venting a session to feel better
While I've been pining away for an ex boyfriend, I recently joined a new division at work and I'm just blown over by one of the senior leaders here. It's weird, but I can tell that he finds me attractive and interesting as well. What I find most interesting is that I met him in person (although I've seen his name float around for a while) after I started doing a lot of person work to feel good about myself for the ex, and I never really thought I'd meet someone like him AND be really attracted to them at the same time.Β
We've had some interactions that are work related and a few more personal ones, and like I said, it feels obvious that we have a lot in common and are on the same wavelength. At the same time, he might or might not be married, has kids, and he is very senior here and is often out of the company. So I'm not sure how to find alignment in this. I don't even know if I should. Sometimes I wonder if I just have a random crush and am reading too much into it. I'd love to be around him (romantically or not, since I'm not sure if he's even available) but at the same time.. I'm not sure how to proceed. Β I guess I feel like if he were single and anything would happen, it would be a step down/embarrassment for him because I don't have the best relationship with some of his close contacts in the company...Β I def don't know how to feel good "enough" for someone of this caliber, so if anything, I feel like this is a good experience to help me address this issue. Should I even be focusing on someone if I'm not sure if they are single? Any help in getting into alignment or objective comments (since I realize its hard to think straight when something is happening to you) are much appreciated

Sounds like an amazing opportunity to do some vibrational work.
First of all, you have your feelings that are guiding you. What are they telling you? When you leave all your worries behind for a moment, how does it feel to have a relationship with him? Let's assume he is single, he is very interested in you and he doesn't care about any social status or stuff like that. Would you like to have a relationship with him? If you realize that you would like to have a relationship with him, start to work on every thought you presented here that feels less than good. Try to find a thought that's a little less negative. Something like: "It would be a step down for him to be with me. But I know that I'm an amazing person. For real love, social status isn't an aspect. If he would fall in love with me, he wouldn't care about what others think. I want a guy who loves me for who I am anyway. He is a nice guy. I'm sure he would do that. [...]". Do that until you feel relief about a topic.
Until you don't know for sure that he has someone, I don't see a problem in focusing on him. If you find out that there is a woman in his life, you can still change your plan of action. In any case, you benefit from your vibrational work.

Oh you can totally get this guy for sure Β
OK to start feeling 'good' enough, which you most probably already are, you just have to sit down and think of all the best things about yourself that you like and then think of things a lot during the day. Ex: 'I really like the way I see the world, I'm really a happy person' 'I really like my eyes, they're a really nice colour'. Then think of all the times you did something that makes you proud and then think of all the compliments from people you've ever received. On top of that, try and get some new traits that you've always wanted. Like maybe start reading the Financial Times or other books or go look at art or whatever, do something that expands your mind and has you really interested. Become an interesting person. Don't waste your brain on stupid things like reality TV, because I bet he doesn't. Start reading and watching things you would think he might, so that you can start to really understand his vibe. Maybe he likes jazz music, start listening to that a little. You don't have to like his likes, but you should get to see what his likes are so that you can get a good feel for his over all character and what he's looking for. He's not looking for someone to be in competition with, so just because you work under him means nothing. He's looking for things you probably already have, usually, fun, intelligence, confidence, warmth. Whenever he comes into your space, greet him with a warm smile as if he is a good friend. Show in your body language that you are a safe place for him to go to, a place he would like to go to more often. That's setting the atmosphere, which is attracting. You want to be open to receiving him, just allowing him to come to you without feeling like you have to make an impression on him, allow him to make the impression on you. All while staying alligned to your true self, so feeling genuinely confident and sexy and relaxed.

Your message has so much wisdom in it! And yes, I am crawling out of my skin to be around him so I would be more that elated to have any relationship with him, esp romantic. It is just his energy, I love it. Its funny because I asked one of my friends at work if she think he's also attractive and her response was "maybe he's different in person but I'm gonna go with no", so I do think it is on some level just an energy attraction
I am seeing this as an opportunity, if nothing else, to work on my vibration, because as I mentioned, to work on my vibration. I love your suggestion and I'm already starting to repeat it to myself when I get anxious feeling about this and it is very calming.

Thanks for the lovely message! I'm proud to say I'm pretty on top of my game in terms of the things I do in my free time and the person I want to be, and he and i do have a lot in common. What I forget is that I don't have to impress him, which is what I'm trying to do now. Even if I'm not doing it physically, I think my energy has been a bit "how can I make you like me" lately. Because I work in a very type-A industry and am a bit aggressive myself, sometimes I forget to chill out and balance myself out with some more feminine energy of just letting things happen.
