Trying Again

Hey everyone.

When I first discovered the 25 Day Challenge, it was in the midst of June, and there were a lot of changes—I moved, got a new job, implemented a few life changes, etc., etc.—so I struggled staying consistent with the book itself, eventually abandoning it during that last week. Judging from others' success, as well as the other successes it brought to my life, this was a grave mistake.

As such, starting today, I'm going to commit to full-on embracing the 25 Day Challenge and following all the suggestions in the book—not an easy task in our modern helter-skelter world.

I appreciate everyone's support here so far, and wanted to ask simply: what's worked for you guys, in addition to the book itself? Were there any other books or tactics you employed that helped? Did you follow the instructions verbatim, or mix-and-match as time allowed? Any and all advice is appreciated, and I look forward to more success stories, including my own, as we all progress.

I've been in this journey for almost 3 months now with its ups and downs and I came to the conclusion that I was focusing only on my BF and not on me. I started this challenge yesterday and basically it is what you need to do, according to Abraham's teachings.

Re: Trying Again

Jim, thank you for sharing those ideas. While I don't think I can adopt all of them—the old Star Trek quote 'Dammit, Jim! I'm a doctor, not a magician!' comes to mind—I am going to implement many of them. I agree I may have been focusing more on her as opposed to *us* and my own happiness, just as you mentioned about yourself. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction.

Yes you are a magician cause we all are.
I can't say that what I was doing wasn't successful, because my BF was always contacting me. It was me who sabotaged ME. So I stepped back and we are in no contact for the first time. I know when I feel better about myself, but myself alone, everything will fall into place.
Hope everything goes well and keep us posted.

Re: Trying Again

I appreciate your support, everyone.

I know, overall, I feel great about myself. I think the manifesting is working, and I often feel this expectant emotion, like there's a package at the apartment and I've only got to get back after work and my desire will be there. Sometimes I struggle to keep the faith, however, and sometimes I'm having too much fun to even think of the desire one way or the other (which may be a good thing?). I'm still trying and hoping, however, so I'll let you know when she writes.
