New to this journey (in a way)

Hey everyone! I'm the Chemist, trying to re-unite with my love, the Social Worker. We have master's degrees in those subjects, and I'm a big Whovian, so it's a fun way to keep ourselves anonymous.

So I don't want to get too long-winded here, but would like to provide some background. We 'broke up' in August of last year (I know, right?), but sort of fluctuated back and forth between talking daily and not talking for weeks. She would sometimes respond if I reached out, but hasn't initiated on her own in a long time. My last semi-regular contact was in May, and I've sort of dropped the whole thing lately.

Anyway, in a crazy string of circumstances, I was given some of Veronica's videos, which led me to her two books (I've read both once and I'm on them again). I had been having trouble at work, so I quit unexpectedly and received a call, that morning, for an interview at what's been a wonderful promotion and a chance to move out of the old town. I was living in Dayton, OH, and have since relocated to Lexington, KY. The first apartment was nicer than I imagined and it's now my residence, and the town's been just about everything I could want, improving my mood and demeanor 10-fold. Naturally, manifesting/visualization was at play, and I'm working very hard to keep attracting good things.

I spent the last month going through Veronica's 25-Day Challenge, but saw no results on the Social Worker front. I took about a week off and now I'm going to restart and see if I can make it stick. I get warm feelings and feel very confident it will work out, though, so I'm sticking with it.

I found out that she unfriended me on Facebook, not even an hour ago, and it hurts, so I'm turning to this community for some advice. Do any of you have any advice on manifesting techniques that have worked for you? How stringently did you stick to the Challenge--my work doesn't permit me to perform all the activities each day--and how, exactly, do you go about visualization?

I apologize for the length of this message, and hope to hear from some of you soon. I've begun reading some of your stories and find them fascinating and wonderful. Keep up the good work!

Shawn, you actually make some pretty damn good points. I like the way you've phrased everything, too.

On re-reading what I'd posted last night, I was in a bit of a frantic state, and, honestly, I'm embarrassed. Thank you for being so chill in your response.

What makes this frustrating is that that's what I'd been doing when I discovered Veronica's teachings, when I was first moving and building a new life, for the two of us, even. I had returned to the home we shared, in Ohio, and had to clean it out. The whole time I felt awful and I think it put me into a less-than-helpful emotional state.Β

I do agree I need to re-focus on me. Do you have any advice for doing that and keeping my doubts at bay?Β
