Vibrational reality vs. "real" reality

I just had a realisation that's so obvious that I can't really believe that it took me so long to get it. I want to share it with you anyway.

Let's take the TV analogy once again. There is BBC and there is Fox News. Both channels are equally real. You wouldn't say that BBC does not exist because you are watching Fox News at the moment, right? So there is no difference between BBC and Fox News. The only thing that is responsible for which channel you see is the receiver (the TV). You don't have to call BBC and say that you don't longer want to watch Fox News. BBC has nothing to change. The only thing that has to change is the receiver.
Same thing with you. You are receiving a vibration. The vibration is there whether you receive it or not. It doesn't get more real because you perceive it just as the vibrations you don't perceive get less real because you don't perceive them. You don't have to change anything in your outside world! You just have to change the channel and everything you want will be already there for you.

Re: Vibrational reality vs. "real" reality

I totally get this but I always get a bit mixed up....I think Abraham says we have to be happy watching Fox News in order to change to BBC? Like happy with the current reality to get the other one. But it can be hard sometimes to really want to watch the BBC but you're on Fox and you make the best you can out of Fox, but then live most of your day visualising and trying to watch the BBC....

Any opinions?

I think the moment you are unhappy with watching Fox you take it too serious. You are desperately searching for the remote but you are sitting on it so to speak.
The moment you know that your reality is not more real than the one you want why should you be unhappy with it?

Re: Vibrational reality vs. "real" reality

Thank you for the great post Sanshi! I am recently inspired by the Bentinho Massaro's explanation of parallel realities. So inspirational that allows me to understand the so called past is not even relational to anything that will happen in the future but our mind makes the 'linear' time connection, while they are actually separate realities, so what happened in the past has no impact to the future I want! If my vibe has been shifted to a complete different state of being and then my manifestation will be totally different! and it keeps me remember my visualizations are my reality, and I need to discipline my feelings and my thoughts! I love Bentinho's(/Bashar's) view on this too. It helped me to get the concept intellectually but I still didn't know how to access this parallel realities. I just recently understood that Abraham basically talks about the same thing. Abraham resonates with me more than anybody else at the moment. I listened to them the first time nearly 6 years ago but I feel I REALLY got it this past few week for the first time. The way to your prefered parallel/vibrational reality is simple in and of itself: find the vibration of it by reaching for the feeling of already having it and that gets much easier from a high vibration.Β

You access by feeling your way to it. By ignoring the 'what is'

Re: Vibrational reality vs. "real" reality

Hello everyone, this is a great affirmation for me just now because I was with friends yesterday who don't do this work, and so they see current conditions as truth and make a big drama out of it.Β  I was getting sucked in, but I know they must sometimes think I'm avoiding reality or being in denial in relation to my guy.Β  But I've been so happy recently because all I'm focussing on is the desired outcome.Β  I had a chat with my 'guru' a friend who is pretty advanced when it comes to all this vibrational stuff, and he assured me that what I'm seeing 'out there' is illusion.Β  And I guess, you've all reminded me how important it is to keep yourself 'tuned' in to what you want.Β  I got 'news' yesterday as well that really did get me in the stomach and I was very emotional about it re: my guy because of what he had told my friend.Β  But once again, I have to just keep 'ignoring' current conditions and not have them 'active' in my vibration so the thing is to keep attuning ourselves to the highest good feeling we can find.Β  I had been feeling so high lately as well, I wonder sometimes if little setbacks are really just some sort of a cleanse/shift because you've been feeling really good lately.

Love is all
