Any advice is much appreciated!!!

Hiiii.. so I decided to come & ask for you guys' advice on this simply because I get such good vibes from everyone here.. lol long story short I am going through a healing phase with my health.. I fell sick last year - thought I was on my way out.. healing everything inside.. my lovely organs & all that & also my skin.. currently not working due to all this & often in a lot of pain.. not always able to make it out the house.. so how would I "act as if.." Because normally I would have sooo much energy & be out socializing.. I've been getting results with my guy YAYYY but this is even more important to me because I want my skin to repair.. & I want to be healthy whole & complete lol I use gratitude in advance.. I say affirmations.. I even KNOW I'm healing but it's taking so long that I tend to get fed up sometimes - i don't visualize.. I should probably start.. but for how long? Do you guys have any more tips???? thank youuuu!!!

Re: Any advice is much appreciated!!!

I don't have much experience with health problems and I don't like to give advice on things I don't know but, I had acne on my back all through my teenage years and it only started bothering me when I was about 17 and I used to feel so embarrassed but I would cover it up with foundation and then tell myself that it was my real skin and no one would notice and eventually I started noticing it clearing up and now I only get acne on my neck but my back isn't a problem anymore So what I'm saying is, don't strain your body, but start telling yourself you're healthy and fine and when you do make it out of the house, give gratitude for that even if it's only a short time and think in your head 'oh I'm so glad I made it outside' instead of 'I'm so annoyed I didn't get out for as long as I wanted' it's baby steps. Stay away from comparisons, don't look at other people who are healthy too much and feel sad, don't look at pictures of celebrities or anything, just look at you and see yourself as getting more and more healthy every day Listen to your body, if you're feeling ill and have been told to rest or seek medical advice, do so, don't strain it. When you're getting fed up, feel compassion for yourself and tell yourself it's ok to feel fed up, it's ok to be frustrated, but it will be over soon

Thank you so so much.. I definitely will start appreciating every moment I get outside rather than wishing I had more time outside.. that's perfect! & I will stop comparing myself.. that's the worst thing anyone can do.. definitely gotta get out of that habit ! Thank you again - you made me realize some things ))

Re: Any advice is much appreciated!!!

No problem ! While you are in recovery, maybe you could use it for your benefit, like reading a big book, like Anna Karina or other classics so you can grow your mind, meditate and look up about spirituality as well and grow your spirit It's not nice to be house bound, but you can always escape through your mind for as long as you are and that's why reading is really great and really does expand yourself. When you do go out, when you look in the mirror, always see the positives, nice hair, eyes, lips, body shape, whatever you can see even if it's the fact that you have quite nice eye brows, and focus on that a lot! Keep your mind off the problem as much as you can is the main factor Β
