trouble feeling it. help!

I know I want I my x fiance back,  marriage, kids everything we talked about.  We broke up about 8 months ago no contact since 6 months, he blocked me from all social media, he lives on the other side of the planet. I live on California and he lives in South East Asia.  My problem is yes I know I want to grow old with him,  I have no doubt or fear, I trust the universe will deliver but my concern is when I visualize what I want I don't feel that feeling of love and happiness in my heart like when you think of a memory but there's no doubt I want him.  I'm worried will my visualization have no effect because of that?  I know in my he heart we will be OK its just with time and distance apart and no contact whatsoever it's hard for my heart to melt with that feeling of love and joy etc. Please help.  Will my visualization is still be effective?

I'm curious to read what others say about this because I've had the EXACT same issue throughout my journey. To be honest, since I found Veronica & this site I have taken the advice and focused on my happiness. I'm so excited about how many new friends I've manifested in a short time and I believe that since there's this increased joy in my life, it's easier to feel those feelings during my visualisations. My journey has also been long and tedious and I think that, plus the baggage of the breakup itself has zapped our intense positive emotions about our person, even though we know they are 1000% what we want.
With my new found friendships and increased overall happiness I have less time to stew and worry about this as well, and I think that helps. I do fewer and shorter visualisations but they're more intense. I used to ignore the "get happy" advice because I honestly thought it wasn't possible without him, or I thought I'd be happy after I manifested him back. But I cannot deny that things are seriously shifting in my life. Not with him yet, but so many people seem like they're drawn to me (both plutonic and not-plutonic) since I began following this advice, I really can't deny there must be something to it. Either way, spending significant time focusing and working on your happiness in and of itself is worth a try - there's nothing to lose!

From my experience, when I have trouble feeling, it's because:

1. I haven't let go current reality

If you try to fix the problem, then it is difficult to feel, because there is a voice inside your head telling you "you know that this is not true" and it is more easy to have feelings about the bad situation than the good one. You have to give up. Let the problem be. Allow it to exist, but stop observing it. Take your focus off of it. Give up from trying to fix it and concentrate on the reality you prefer. To do this, think of it in this way: imagine two different realities. The one is what you see now and the other is what you want. So, instead of trying to fix the first one, let it be and let it go and focus on the second one.

2. Trying too hard

If you feel not concentrated, tired, bored or anything else, stop and try later. When you find yourself trying too hard it is a sign that it has not fun anymore, so stop doing it. Take a nap or do something else, forget it for some time. Do it whenever you want, just to feel good, because you love these images and feelings, not to fix something. Think of it this way: There is a reality that I have whatever I want. Wouldn't it be nice if I could take a glimpse of it? I want to know how it feels, I want to taste a little bit this reality.

Imagine there is a world where everything you want exist in it. And there is a little window and you go close to that window and see what exists in this world, how it is and how it feels. This is the way you need to visualize.

"I have to visualize now because there is a problem and I need to fix it now using visualization"--->wrong way

Can you feel the difference?
