Open up a new Word document on your computer. Right now.
This blank document, this white battlefield, is where the battle between who you were and who you want to be will be decided, and the victor will become who you are.
On this page write down who you want to be, every detail about this person, even the smallest of things, from what you think to how you act to the things you do, until there’s pages upon pages depicting the incredible details of this incredible person.
Ask yourself who the person is when they wake up in the morning. Do they sulk, dragging their feet as they get ready?
NO, they leap out of bed, eager to meet the day.
If this person has a bad dream, do they waste precious minutes of their life analyzing it?
NO, they push on, not letting this dream bring down their day, knowing that their power to create their universe extends far beyond just dreams.
Ask yourself who this person is as they go about their day.
Does this person wallow in the past as they ride to work on the train?
NO, this person takes the time to listen to music, or read, or wonder what the stories are behind all the people that surround them on the train.
When negative thoughts intrude, does this person let them gain momentum?
NO, this person shakes them off without any effort.
Does this person find themselves at work, distracted by the what-if’s and the why-did’s, replaying all of the old conversations with their person, cycling through a flurry of LOA articles instead of actually getting work done?
NO, this person loses themselves in their work, flying from 9 to 5 without a single thought of their person.
Does this person hold themselves back from going out, from seeing movies, from hanging out with friends, from having fun, because they can only have fun with their person?
Does this person stop themselves from dating other people, from discovering other stories and exploring other sensations in new people, people that may be just as awesome as their person?
Does this person hold themselves back, wondering what their person is doing all the time, and who they’re doing it with, and why they can’t be there with them?
Do they compare themselves to that other person, constantly telling themselves they can never have the life they have, that they’re not good enough for them and never will be?
HELL no!
They are The Guy, or The Girl, and they recognize how much ******* power is brewing within them. It was dead before, but now it’s alive. And with it they’ll delve head first into life, going out, having fun, exploring, pillaging, creating, going to places they’ve never been before, feeling things they’ve never felt before, meeting all kinds of new people, discovering all kinds of new things, being grateful for this wonderful new journey they’ve found themselves on. This person knows that they can create an amazing life, and it doesn’t have to even involve their person. They make the rules, they create the circumstances, they write the story, not the other person.
So what’s your life, and who are you in this life, away from the influence of your person?
Answer these questions. Then go back and do a “replace all” in the document, swapping out “the person I want to be” with “the person I am”.
Now read it through. Welcome to your new life.

In fact, Giver, why don't you start and actually post your page?! And we should all do the same by following your example?! I think this is a fabulous idea- we can get all our forum members to introduce their new version! What do you think?!

In the morning, I wake up happily greeting the new day ahead of me and kissing my husband good morning. I know it's another wonderful day that I am ready to create. Even if I had a bad dream, I would just brush it off. It was only a dream, it has nothing to do with the reality I am creating. My reality is far more blissful and joyous. I always make sure to listen to 532 Hz to build my wonderful DNA. I make sure to give gratitude to the people that I love and for all the good I have received. I always make sure to read my affirmations out loud to remind myself how wonderful I am. Drinking water is very important for me in the morning, as it's important to keep hydrated. I do my morning workout then I eat a healthy and hearty breakfast. I love myself enough to be fit and healthy after all.
This is my first paragraph of my Essay.
