A few hours ago, I posted how I was really conflicted in how I should proceed & whether the increased attention on my dating profile was a sign from the universe that I'm on track, and just checking in to make sure I really do want my ex; or whether it's a sign to give up on my ex and just move on.  A guy that looks somewhat similar to my guy messaged me a few days ago, and I've contemplated responding.  I saw that he visited my profile today, and has multiple times since messaging me.  It's a sign, but I didn't know how to interpret it.  I started to get pretty upset, and almost went to look up my ex and his new gf on social media just to prove to myself that he was happy and should move on.  (It's been a while since I've looked, so he may not even be with her..who knows and who cares).

But then I read this post; as well as the one addressing all the negativity today.  And I realized, I too had fallen into this trap, when I was feeling pretty good earlier.  So I grabbed the dog, took him for a walk outside and reminded myself that I'm in charge of my life!  That dude that messaged me - he looks similar to my guy; but he's NOT my guy.  When my guy first messaged me, he had me; I wanted to message him back immediately.  This dude - this dude's message was boring.  Thank you universe for the sign and the option;  but I'm going to wait for my guy to come back.  If I'm supposed to be inspired to date other people while my true desire manifests, then bring me a guy that inspires me to date!  

Thank you for this post...and thank you universe for checking in and making sure I know what I want; and helping me figure out how to proceed!!  

Yes! I am talking to this guy I met online and he lives only an hour away from me but we flirt and we made plans to hang out together and see each other just for fun, I mean he is cute and all but my heart is still with my lover so I think dating or seeing people is a good idea just for fun just let them know that you aren't looking for anything serious if you do find someone to have fun with you know? Honestly talking to this guy reminds me sooooooo much of my ex I feel like it is the universe way of letting me know that my lover is on her way. with the guy I am talking to now he has the same day of birth as my lover and some other synchronicities I noticed about him that reminds me of my lover. I say to the universe thank you and although I do enjoy talking to this guy, I know my heart is still with my lover

Yeah, the same thing happened on Power Law of Attraction last year. A wave of negative posts hit in February and got somewhat better in spring lol. Oh well, energy flows where your focus goes.

But today was a wonderful Valentines Day. Snow is all over Chicago, I stayed in and ate a nice Italian salad and  some mint chocolate chip ice cream. I played Devil May Cry on PS3 for a few hours, and then I talked to my friends. It's amazing how great life can be when you just decide to enjoy your day with what you have for now and let the everything else take care of itself while knowing that your own positive focus will snowball into great things coming your way.
