Feeling discouraged

Whilst trying to attract back my ex, at times I feel like giving up and letting go of my hope and optimism about reconnecting with my ex. I have been feeling this way, on and off, for a while now and often question why do I keep trying and why do I have hope.

Currently, I feel discouraged, and this could stem from my self doubt (which I am trying to remove). My question is, do these feelings of "I can't do this," affect my manifestations?

Yes they affect your manifestation. they delay your manifestation. Be focuse on your desire. Be constant.

Dont look on present, just go with present and creat your own future. You know LOA now, so you can have everything. Decide what you want in all category of your life, focus on this and enjoy your life. If you want ex back, than creat this. You want dream car, house, job, money, helath, fit body, happines. Just creat it in your mind and belive that you already have this. In next few months you will have almost everything what you wish.

While, yes, this is delaying your manifestation, also don't be ashamed that you're having these thoughts. Doing that just creates even MORE resistance. Just use these feelings and thoughts to realize what you don't want, which will lead you to focusing on what you don't want. It's called contrast. Say to yourself: okay, I don't like feeling this way, or living this way--so how do I want to live? What would my ideal life look like? And then shift your mental energy into that. Every time a thought or feeling comes up that you don't like (you're only human, so it's bound to happen), just let it pass through you. Don't dwell or wallow. But at the same time don't fight it. It's this "passing through you" that eventually leads to their complete eradication.

That's the thing I struggle with most, letting things just pass through me. I tend to overthink and in slowly learning to look at things differently and stop assuming things. It's hard and the mental process of trying to shift perspective to a more optimistic view is challenging, but at the end of the day, I do want this. I become discouraged because something doesn't work and that leads me to wanting to give up.

When negative thoughts enter your mind, don't dwell on them. Acknowledge their existence, surrender, observe, then let go. Don't pass judgment.
