Calling all success stories! 🎉👏🏼 » Manifesting Big » 7/09/2018 8:49 am

Hi everyone. I know that many of you are focused on relationships here but I wanted to share my business success manifesting story with you.
I joined this forum about a year ago after a painful breakup with someone who was emotionally and psychologically unhealthy and who left me for someone else and moved in together quickly after. I had struggled with it for months until I realized that I deserve so much better than him and I was in a very low self state when I met this person. He has brought so much pain and drama into my life and yet, there I was longing for him and wanting his attention back.

After about 7 long months of confusion and obsession, I started focusing on healing myself instead and how I can better myself and make my life happier. I have come so far in the past year and I am still working in progress on my growth journey. Big and exciting things are happening in my life now and I believe that the perfect person for me will show up in my life at the right time so I'm not worried about it as much anymore and just living my life to the fullest until that day comes.
I believe that I will find a much healthier and happier relationship with someone who will truly love and respect me now because I expect nothing but the best for myself.  I am now in the process of opening my very own vegan restaurant! I'm growing my business, I have created amazing friendships with kind, loving, positive people and I'm feeling so much better and optimistic about the future possibilities. Don't give up on yourself! don't get sucked into a black hole because of one person. You have the control to achieve whatever you set your mind to!

Ok... I have a silly question related to this topic...
How does it really work if you have certain feelings for someone who hardly knows you exist then...?
I have a little crush on someone I only met twice but this person is happily married to someone else. I saw him in a dream a day or two after last time we met. I'm not interested in pursuing this person or breaking up their marriage, I simply admire some of the qualities he possess that I would be looking for in a potential partner. Just wanted to get your opinion since you said that who you admire admires you back and how that's possible if that person hardly knows you :-)

I created a very similar situation to yours on my last relationship. It's been close to a year now and it also lead me to LOA but I'm now focusing on attracting a much healthier relationship and not get stuck on that person anymore. He also began a relationship with a third party literally the day after we ended and been "love bombing" her and posting them on social media etc but I don't pay attention to that. The last time I saw him was at a work related conference a few months ago after they moved in together and he was acting around me like it's the same old days, all flirty and friendly etc so I got fed up and told him off and been no contact again since. I'm much happier now honestly, I have peace in my life, I manifested a growing new business and many amazing friends and opportunities. I can't give you the perfect advice because every case is different and we all have different beliefs but you should heal yourself now that you realize why you attracted such relationship. I have so much higher value of myself now and I will never put up with anyone disrespecting me the way he did again. I chose to let this person go because I believe that he is going to dispose of her and hurt her the way he did to me and I deserve much better than I settled for. I hope that you find your peace and heal. You met this person for a reason so you can self reflect and grow. I believe that this person came into my life for a reason and it's made me stronger and better.

Like I said, I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion on the topic, simply stating my own :-) since some people are chemically imbalanced I find it hard to believe that there is no such thing as personality disorder, but that is for a whole different topic I suppose. I believe that this person also has low value of himself and limiting beliefs from childhood and past relationships, which were "pushed out" on me in the relationship, and in return made me behave a certain way around him which I don't around other people so it makes sense.

This advice is good only if you choose to continue to believe that the person is a “narcissist”. Otherwise you can just change your beliefs about them.

I think what I'm saying is that if that person has treated you in such a way, is it really worth your time and energy trying to see them differently when you can invest your energy into attracting a relationship with a person who already appears to be balanced and can experience empathy? I feel like we are often getting stuck on the idea of someone instead of seeing the big picture. I know that everyone has a different opinion on this subject but in my experience when many people observe and acknowledge a behavior pattern or personality disorder in a person its no longer just your perception of their personality.

Strange that this discussion showed up. I've actually been doing a lot of reading/watching videos about narcissist and narcissist abuse in the last couple of weeks because I believe that my ex is one of those people. I'm also an empath, which they claim to attract those kind of people often. I don't believe that it was all only me pushed out because other people have been noticing his behavior and pointing it out and I didn't know anything about narcissist disorder when I was still with this person. I do believe that I created and attracted this relationship due to my low state of mind when we met. I'm now working on healing myself and focusing on myself more so I can attract a much more stable and respectful relationship next time. It's taken me almost a year to come to terms with everything but I've become so much wiser and stronger because of that relationship and how badly it ended.

If you believe that this person is a narcissist my advice for you would be to run away as fast as you can to save you from further hurt. These people are like empty vessels and they will mirror you to make you like them and suck everything out of you before they get bored and find their next victim.

I see what you're saying and I agree. I have a coworker who I used to think was negative, bitchy and mean and she's now my best friend at work. She was there with me when I went to the conference and he hung out with us for 2 days and she was very supportive of me. Now I see her as a completely different person. I guess when you have an experience with a person who you see a certain way due to their overall behavior it's hard to shift your perception of that person and see them in a different light. In a way I'm emphatic and sort of feel bad for his new girl because I believe that he's going to use and hurt her too eventually. I'm basically ready to open myself up to all the great things that I know are coming for me because I made huge changes in my life this past year but I sometimes feel like thinking about him can be holding me back. I really appreciate the time you are taking to read through and give valuable advice.
